It feels like there has been an overflow of opinions and messages going around about finding your place in the social media world. Whether it's becoming an entrepreneur, presets, or sharing more of your story - it's everywhere. And while all of these topics can be very exciting and motivational, I think it can be overwhelming. It feels like the pressure to have perfect posts has been replaced with the pressure to have the most engagement on your posts. Either way, it's unpredictable and an exhausting thing to dive into emotionally.
Ultimately, the people I want to follow are the people who are unashamedly themselves. The girls who may have really cute posts but are also 100% real in their stories on Instagram. Whatever you're passionate about, whatever you choose to share - let that be enough. Passion doesn't have to be perfect, or displayed perfectly. It's yours and you get to decide how you want to portray it on social media. Your God-given gifts don't even need affirmation from strangers online in order to be used for your purpose.
Take the pressure off yourself and just post what you're proud of, what you feel is worth sharing, and what excites you! Yay! For this post I had the awesome opportunity to collaborate with Mostly Mia Boutique with this beautiful dress I'll be wearing all Summer! It was the perfect excuse to go out with my sister Madison and just have fun taking photos, we laughed so much and didn't overthink anything for a moment.
You can get 20% off your entire purchase at Mostly Mia or Stay Warm In Style with the code VICBILS at checkout! This dress is amazing - no slits (my fav) , pockets, and so comfy!
